Kota Tua project's mission
How can a group of high school students turn Kota Tua into a UNESCO heritage site?
Campaigning through social media and publicity events is not enough. In order to ensure that our voices are heard, we give Big Data presentations to Indonesia's National Tourism Board, Jakarta Department of Planning (Bappeda) and the Consortium of Kota Tua.
With the use of statistics, our ideas are no longer just plain ideas. It turns into feasible action plans.
The Kota Tua Project believes that all types of "Big Data" can be used to drive research insights and policy recommendations to all types of stakeholders. Here, we have analyzed Transjakarta "Tap-In" Figures, Waze Traffic Data, the distribution of Building Conditions and its Usage, and much more. We have also held public events so that we can rally the general public around our insights.
